Magniber, which has been notorious for infecting ransomware only by visiting a webpage

without any special action by the user using the vulnerability of the explorer in the past, 

has recently reappeared.

What has changed is that it is targeting victims by disguising them as COVID-19-related files 

or security update files, not attacks that exploit vulnerabilities in web browsers as in the past.

As a result of obtaining and testing the Magniber ransomware, 

it was confirmed that the attack of this ransomware was defended by trueEP's malicious behavior prevention algorithm.
